SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

Monthly benefits provided on an EBT card to help low-income families and individuals purchase eligible food items at authorized retailers. As of May 2025, temporary increases in benefit amounts related to the public health emergency have ended, and standard eligibility rules are in effect.

Eligibility: Low-income based on federal guidelines and household size, New York State resident. Certain non-citizens who meet specific criteria may also be eligible.
